We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties:

• Account Data: Name, email address, password (hashed), role (buyer/seller), and profile information.
• Transaction Data: Purchase records, brand listings, order history, payout information, and Stripe Connect account details.
• Usage Data: Pages visited, search queries, time on site, device type, browser, and IP address (anonymised after 30 days).
• Communications: Messages you send to our support team and any offer communications between buyers and sellers.
• Payment Data: Processed exclusively by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or CVCs on our servers.

• To operate the marketplace and process transactions.
• To verify seller identity and domain ownership.
• To communicate with you about your account, listings, and purchases.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, transfer instructions, payout notifications).
• To personalise your browsing experience and show relevant listings.
• To improve our platform through analytics (aggregated, not sold to third parties).
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these circumstances:

• Between Buyers and Sellers: When a transaction is completed, the buyer's email is shared with the seller solely to facilitate domain transfer.
• Stripe: Payment and payout processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs their data handling.
• Legal Obligations: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Kingly Brands and its users.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred as part of the business assets.

We use essential cookies (required for site function), preference cookies (remember your settings), and analytics cookies (anonymised usage data). You may decline non-essential cookies via our cookie banner. Declining analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the marketplace.

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are retained for 7 years to comply with financial regulations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@kinglybrands.com. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Update inaccurate or incomplete data via your account settings.
• Deletion: Request erasure of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email.

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and regular security audits. Our infrastructure is hosted on Cloudflare's edge network. Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

Kingly Brands is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at privacy@kinglybrands.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
